Dry Weekend Coming Up

It looks like today was our last day of good rain.  Forecast models all show a high pressure system aloft building back in an dominating the weather pattern into next week.  This means the atmosphere will stabilize and our chances of rain will drop significantly.  Subsidence or a sinking air pattern will lower the moisture levels in the atmosphere and do a couple things for us temperaturewise.  First it will make it make it hotter during the afternoon because there won't be much moisture to absorb heat and second it will  make it cooler in the morning because there won't be much moisture available to re-radiate heat back out into the atmosphere.  Looking ahead into next week, we see the ridge weakening a bit allowing for some sea breeze type showers along the coastal plains to return.  Not expecting much in the way of rain here for the next seven days.
